We have started working in Tanzania since 2015 following the success of our work in Kenya and a request from the village of Mbahe on the slopes of Kilimanjaro where a lot of our Adventure Alternative staff live. The building of the school in the village offers opportunities for people to come and visit during their visit to the mountain or on safari, and hopefully fundraise for the charity perhaps by climbing the peak!
Below is the school we have been working on in Tanzania, the Ng'aroni School near Marangu village on the slopes of Kilimanjaro. You can get involved with supporting this school online or by organising a group to visit or perhaps doing a fundraising trip up Kilimanjaro.
